CoD: Warzone 2 Will Bring Back 1v1 Gulag With Season 2 Update, Devs Confirm

Infinity Ward has confirmed this. Call of Duty: Warzone 2The less popular changes are returning in the upcoming Season 2 update. Almazar is downsizing Gulag for a more traditional Warzone 1 experience.

The Battle Royale sequel originally changed Gulag from a 1v1 arena to a larger 2v2 fight, with the added threat of a minigun-wielding “jailer” NPC opponent. Al-Mazar’s Gulag has been poorly received for this. Forcing players to team up with another random playeras matchups are often random, AFK players, or pairings that lack communication.

now, Infinity Ward has tweeted. To announce that 1v1 fights are returning with Gulag changes in the Season 2 update. It’s uncertain whether the return to mini-battles will also remove the jailer and his minigun, but the developer says more details will be revealed in a blog post next week.

This news has come after a day. Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 and Warzone 2 Delayed, Activision Confirms for two weeks. Originally scheduled for February 1, Season 2 will now begin on February 15, giving developers more time to implement changes based on player feedback. Season 2 is also coming with a 1v1 Gulag as well as a brand new mini Warzone map and Resurgence mode.

The last major update for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 rolled out back in December. Season 1 Reloaded.. Mid-season content included the Chimera assault rifle, a shipment multiplayer map, a new DMZ location, and the first Call of Duty raid.
