David Prutton’s Sky Bet Championship predictions | Football News

David Purton tipping for victory in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday night? Find out here…

Birmingham v SwanseaTuesday 7.45pm – Sky Sports Football live on the Red Button

Birmingham are looking a good side. They recruited brilliantly on loan and now form one of the best midfield trios in the Championship.

Swansea fought back to catch Wigan, but this is a game they should have been expected to win. I’m going back here to Birmingham to continue his run.

Perton’s Prediction: 2-1 (Sky Bet Odds)

Cardiff v HullTuesday 7.45pm – Sky Sports Football live on the Red Button

It was a well-deserved win for Cardiff at Sunderland on Saturday. They have won two out of three to stay comfortably clear of the relegation zone.

Hull battled to a point in their first game under Liam Rosenier with 10 men. I’ll be backing them here to get their first win under their new manager.

Perton’s prediction: 1-2 (Sky Bet Odds)

QPR v HuddersfieldTuesday 7.45pm – Sky Sports Football live on the Red Button

QPR have endured a poor run of form, picking up just one point from their last three games. A lack of goals is putting them at a bit of a disadvantage in trying to keep pace with the sides around them.

But this is a good chance to get back to winning ways as Huddersfield look absolutely sick at the bottom of the Championship. Home win.

Perton Prediction: 1-0 (Sky Bet Odds)

Sheffield United v RotherhamTuesday 7.45pm – Sky Sports Football live on the Red Button

This was some of Sheffield United’s performance against Burnley. They outscored them in the second half, no mean feat against a 16-undefeated team.

Rotherham have now conceded three on the bounce, which is a real concern. Matt Taylor needs to find a way to turn it around, but it won’t happen at Bramall Lane.

Perton Prediction: 2-0 (Sky Bet Odds)

Stoke v LutonTuesday 7.45pm – Sky Sports Football live on the Red Button

Stoke simply cannot go down under Alex Neil. I feel like I’ve said it a few times already but it’s still true. They should not be where they are at the table and what they have at their disposal.

The news surrounding Nathan Jones will cause unrest in Luton. But they carried on without him last time and will do so again if he leaves. A fantastic win for the Hatters.

Perton’s Prediction: 0-2 (Sky Bet Odds)

Watford v ReadingTuesday 8pm – Live on Sky Sports Football

Watford let me down against Coventry on Saturday, but that has been the story of their time under Sloane Bullock so far. Total inconsistency.

Reading is in bad shape. Whether they level up as a mid-table side or continue to fall towards the relegation zone remains to be seen. They’ve proven me wrong a few times this season, but I can’t see them getting anything at Vicarage Road.

Perton’s Prediction: 2-1 (Sky Bet Odds)
