with the Community Day featuring Chispin. Taking place this weekend, Niantic has officially revealed details about the first Pokemon Go Community Day Classic of 2023, which will feature the Rock Skin Pokemon, Larvitar.
The Pokemon Go Community Day Classic will take place on June 21st from 2pm to 5pm local time. Larvitar will appear much more frequently during this time, and any Larvitar that evolves into Pupitar and then the final form Tyranitar will know a special fast attack during the event called Smack Down.
The event will also unlock additional bonuses for participating Trainers, including Incense and Lure Module durations being extended to three hours, as well as triple experience whenever a Pokemon is caught.
As with previous events, a unique special research themed around Larvitar will be available for purchase in the Pokemon Go app. Tickets will cost $1, and completing tasks will give players additional chances to catch Larvitar, among other bonuses.
