Nicole Kidman To Star In Yellowstone Creator’s New Show, Lioness

Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman will star in Taylor Sheridan’s new CIA TV show Lioness, which also stars Lesla D’Oliveira and Zoe Saldana. The show is called Tigress, and it’s based on a real-world CIA unit.

D’Oliveira plays Cruz Maneulos, a “painful” young Marine who joins the CIA’s Lioness engagement team to take down a terrorist group. Saldana plays the station chief, Joe, and Kidman portrays Caitlin Mead, a senior CIA supervisor.

“She must deal with the pitfalls of being a woman in the high-ranking intelligence community, a wife who craves attention she can’t give herself, and a mentor to someone who is suspiciously just as stoned. Passing by the road she finds herself on.”, reads a line from the show’s description, as shared. The Hollywood Reporter.

Kidman is also an executive producer on Lioness, working for Paramount+. He has received five Oscar nominations in his career, winning one for The Hours.

Sheridan is an accomplished writer and director known for films such as Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River, and Wish Me Dead. He also co-created and wrote Yellowstone and its spin-offs 1883 and 1923. Additionally, Sheridan is the co-creator of the Jeremy Renner drama Mayor of Kingstown.

He is also an actor, most popularly starring as David Hale in Sons of Anarchy.
