TikTok star Waffler69, who was known for eating bizarre food, dies ‘from presumed heart attack’ | US News

A TikTok star who went viral for posting videos of himself eating weird snacks and expired food has died at the age of 33.

Taylor LeJeune – known online as Waffler69 – had 1.8 million followers. Tick ​​tockwhere he posted videos showing him eating strange and sometimes expired food, including 1960s canned ham, reindeer meat and baby food.

Taylor’s brother Clayton Claydorm broke the news to fans in a TikTok video.

“My brother Taylor… died of a heart attack on January 11, 2023 around 10 p.m.,” he said.

“He was taken to the hospital, and I want to say, like, an hour and a half later he passed away. It’s still brand new.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen in the near future… but I thought I should go on TikTok and let everyone know.”

Mr. Kildoram also confirmed his brother’s death to NBC News.

He said he received a call from his mother saying she needed her car to take Lee Jeon – who lived in Louisiana, US – to the hospital because He couldn’t breathe.

An ambulance took him to hospital where he died, Mr Kildoram said.

Lee Jeon’s father and a grandfather both died of heart attacks before he was 50, he added.

Mr Claydorm set up a GoFundMe page to raise money to cover the funeral costs which were paid for by his mother.

The page has raised more than $11,000 and in an update she wrote: “It’s crazy to see how many people outside of my little family truly love my brother.”

In Waffler69’s last TikTok video before his death, he ate a giant fruit dipped in milk after a follower suggested it.

His brother asked fans to show their love by re-watching and sharing the videos.

“Please keep his legacy alive,” he said in a TikTok video. “Look at his material that he has. Live it up. He loved to make people happy.”
